Congratulations Michael!

Image
Michael is my baby brother and today I wanted him to know how thankful I am for him. I have wonderful memories of Michael that I will share today. Memories that I will forever cherish. Since Michael was a little boy he has always had a drive to be the best and do his best in everything he put his hand to. He always had a drive to win and if he lost everyone knew it. I still have vivid memories of Phillip another one of my brothers holding Michael at an arms distance by his head with Michael's arms going a hundred miles per hour trying to hit Phillip because he just lost the game. We could see the wrath of Michael coming and we would split as far as we could from him because he would go berserk! It really was hilarious. That is just one of many funny stories I can tell you for now. Micheal has always been independent and very disciplined. He is a hard worker and intelligent! Last week Michael finished with a Bachelor's Degree Majoring in History. He finished it at a private coll

Dress Up!

Image
Playing dress up was just for the girls, wasn't it? Wrong! My three boys love to dress up in costumes and "fly" around the house and jump off couches and make some very strange noises. I enjoy watching and making sure no bones get broken. When their all dressed up in their favorite costumes I grab the camera and start snapping away. Ezra thinks I'm crazy because every time he turns around I have my camera and I start giving orders to hold still for just a second! A second is like a minute for three squirmy boys he mentions and I say, pictures are for wonderful memories and you will be thanking me later. Being a mother of boys is so much fun, and very challenging at times and sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to have a precious little girl. My heart aches if I think about it for to long because momma closed the factory after the twins were delivered. Now if I was guaranteed a girl I wouldn't of closed the factory but since there in no guarantee, I wen

Sunday School is Alive!

Image
I started a Sunday School promotion about a month ago and told the children he/she could win tickets to Knott's Berry Farm Soak City! The challenge was, whoever was the first one to bring a first time visitor he/she would win the tickets. We had a winner! Her name is CARINA! Yahoo! Carina has been coming faithfully for about a year now and she is SUNSHINE in my class. She learns all the songs, tries to memorize her verse for the week and pays close attention to the lessons. She is one AWESOME young girl. I was thrilled to award her with the GRAND PRIZE! The Lord has been so good to us. We started Sunday School with just my three children in March a little over a year ago. We had a few children come but not on a regular basis. I would have Joshua close his eyes and I would try to speak faith into that little boy and tell him imagine children sitting here learning with you about Jesus! With his eyes closed I would ask him if he could see children in the class and he would say yes! We

SeaWorld Bay of Play

We got an invitation from Sea World to check out the new kiddie area that is opening up today for members only. The official opening is tomorrow and I can only imagine how packed that area is going to be. The theme is Sesame Street! We were planning on taking the boys, but the weather is very windy and there are chances of thunderstorms. I think we'll visit the Bay of Play another day. On another note, I'm very pleased to hear the children from the Polygamist group will soon be reunited with the mothers. I didn't agree how it was handled and felt horrible for the children. No matter what those are still their parents. I can't imagine the trauma they went through with the militarized police squad showing up on their property and having to endure living with complete strangers. What amazes me even more is the fact that they did it over an anonymous tip that happened not to be true. What a shame! I must admit I have followed this case very closely! I have scoured the Int

Twins! Exciting! Exhausting! Extreme Fun!

The boys turned 3 on the 8 Th of April. I can hardly believe we survived 3 years. I love my babies so much and I'm so thankful to be blessed with two identical boys. They have a well mannered 7 year old brother! Joshie is what they like to call him and they even think they're just as strong as him, if not stronger! They try to wrestle him to the ground and love every minute of it. Especially when Joshie gives in and falls to the ground. We still struggle to understand their language. My husband and I were so worried that we looked up delayed speech for twins on the Internet and come to find out we are not the only ones that suffer from not understanding this twin language, which is actually called Idioglossia . Its a language only twins understand. To read more about this twin language do a search on Google. Its very interesting! One of things it recommended was to read, read, read to them. So, Joshie and I have been reading lots of books to the twins and even got DVDs of
