Oh the places you will go..Oh the people you will meet...

Ezra getting ready to preach... Preaching and Bro. Ricky interpreting
Pastor Santiago in the blue shirt..

some of the congregation....

more of the congregation..

We had the privilege to meet and minister to this beautiful congregation. A sweet spirit was in the house and the Pastor was so kind and humble. We were invited to come to this church and little did Ezra know he would be preaching that evening. The Pastor walked up to him after song service and asked if he would deliver the spoken word of God. Ezra was pleasantly surprised but honored that he would ask him. He did an awesome job and the altar call was wonderful. We had a GREAT time in service with them and hope this is just the beginning of a wonderful friendship!

Dad recovering

Dad in the hospital.. I got a call from my mom that my dad had just fallen from a ladder and she wasn't sure how bad the injury was, she said, she would call me once she arrived at the scene. A few minutes went by and I couldn't stand it so I called my mom and she was crying saying my dad was on the floor and there was puddle of blood near his head. I asked if he was breathing and she said, yes that he was able to talk to her and the ambulance was on its way. The paramedics arrived and placed a neck brace on him and whisked him away to the ER.

Early that morning my grandma had asked my dad to fix something on the roof at one of her units. As he was coming down from about 7 feet the ladder went one way and he went another hitting his head very hard on the pavement. He passed out and when he came to, one of my grandmothers tenants was standing over him asking what he wanted her to do. He said, to call my mom Flora and that is exactly what she did. My dad's brother was called to and he arrived shortly after my mom and when he saw my dad he thought he was dead because his eyes were closed and he also saw the puddle of blood. My poor uncle Bob! Last year around this time his granddaughter was killed in a school bus accident and then this. He approached my dad and called his name and my dad responded. A sign of relief swept over him.

When my dad arrived at the ER, he began to vomit. The doctors said, he was suffering from a serious concussion. He vomited several times after arriving and was in much pain. He continued to vomit the next day so they ran several test on him and everything came back negative. His equilibrium was off because he hit his head so hard on the pavement. They decided to keep him and monitor him closely. On the third day he was released from the hospital with no broken bones or stitches. Thank you Jesus! He is still recovering but he is home now and we were able to spend wonderful family time during Christmas. I love you daddy, get well soon!

Mexican Man and Gingerbread house

Josh and part of his heritage, the Mexican Man... Josh, Ez, Jojo and Judah making the gingerbread house...

Josh, Jojo and Judah...look mom what we did....

Josh, Jojo and Judah...hey wait a second you can't eat it yet...its for decorations right now...

I had to run a few jobs for the banks on Saturday so Ezra and the boys wasted no time at all. He made sure Josh finished his heritage doll for his school project that was due on Monday. Then he had the boys help him make the gingerbread house. Usually just Josh and Ez make it together but this time he let the twins help them. I snapped a picture of them before I left and it was so cute to watch them tell me that they were making the house. When I returned from running my jobs, Ezra had given them all haircuts and they were pointing at the gingerbread house and were so proud of it. The boys all wanted a bite of the gingerbread house but I said, they had to wait! One of them opened up his mouth to take a bite out of it and then they all did it at the same time. I made sure to take the picture and stopped them before it was to late. We have it in the middle of our dining room table and since Saturday some of the candy is already missing. They just can't keep their fingers off it. Jojo says, its delicious! He is a crack up! Not sure if the house will still be standing by tomorrow! Keeping my fingers crossed.

Worship at MCRD!

Marines worshipping the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! I was privileged to go to the Marine Depot this past weekend with Ezra! He has been asking me to go for some time now but trying to get everyone ready for the service would be quite challenging. So with the twins out of town, I had no excuses. I was so glad I went. These Marines sure know how to worship. It was so beautiful to see them raise their hands and shout to the Lord. I'm not sure how many of them were filled with the Holy Ghost, but I will get the number and post it later. The best part of the service for me was watching them just flood the altar with out anyone inviting them down or begging them to fill it. And boy did they go after it once they got down there. I saw Ezra praying for one young Marine and he was shaking like a leaf. It was so awesome to witness many more being touched in that same manner. I wanted to take pictures so bad of the altar call but Ezra asked me not to because he didn't want to disturb them while they were praying. Since these services have started, 200 Marines have been baptized in Jesus Name and about 150 have received the Holy Ghost. Revival is definitely happening on the Base!!!! To God be the Glory!

Happy Joshie
